Moose Country Quilts began with the publication of their first pattern in 1997. They have continued releasing patterns and books since then. Most recently, designer Terrie Kralik has published three books and a booklet, including “A Forest of Quilts,” “Flora and Fauna,” “Quilted Forest Décor,” and “90-Minute Fabric Fun.” See more about these books on the Special Items page. Terrie is an active quilting instructor, and loves to teach quilting tips, tricks, and trivia to quilters of all ages, from children to adults. Read more about her teaching style on the Classes page. From her home in Northern Idaho, Terrie designs quilts that are influenced by her love of the outdoors, as you can see with the majority of her patterns. A local car show brought about the Classic Car series, while her love of flowers and floral fabrics inspired the Colorwash designs. "Our goal at Moose Country Quilts is to create patterns of interesting designs with instructions that are clear, concise, tested & beginner friendly. Never again be left in the dark! "Speed piecing methods are used whenever possible & our quilt patterns generally include help with choosing fabrics as well as diagrams, suggestions for variations & ways to personalize your project. When you purchase a quilt pattern from Moose Country Quilts you are buying another tool for your quilter's toolbox. . .a new skill - learned by following our thorough directions - that can help make future quilting projects go together faster & easier!" |
